What Happens When You Type google.com in Your Browser?
You type google.com into your browser and press Enter.
The browser checks its local cache to see if it already knows the IP address.
If not found, the request is passed to the operating system for further processing.
The OS checks its own DNS cache. If still not found, the request goes to your router.
